Introduction:
SKS College of Pharmacy, located in Kirmach, Kurukshetra, Haryana, was established in the year 2023 by the Sardar Kewal Singh Memorial Educational Trust. The college was founded in loving memory of Late Sardar Kewal Singh Ji. With a modest beginning of 60 students and offering a Diploma in Pharmacy, the college has grown both in size and stature over the years. It is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) Delhi, and the affiliation process is currently in progress.

Campus and Facilities:
The sprawling campus of SKS College of Pharmacy provides a conducive environment for the all-round development of its students. The campus features an administrative block, an instructional block, a well-equipped library, and various laboratories. Additionally, students have access to common rooms, a canteen, photocopy facilities, a web access center, a medical room, a seminar hall, and a multipurpose hall. The college takes pride in being the best co-educational institution in the rural part of Kurukshetra district, promoting educational courses.

Laboratories:
SKS College of Pharmacy has dedicated and well-equipped laboratories to facilitate practical learning and research for its students. The laboratories are designed to meet the requirements of pharmacy education and provide hands-on training in various aspects of pharmaceutical sciences. These labs are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, instruments, and apparatus to ensure that students gain practical experience in areas such as pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical analysis, and pharmaceutics. The college places a strong emphasis on providing a practical learning environment to complement the theoretical knowledge imparted in the classrooms.

Library and Learning Resources:
The college library at SKS College of Pharmacy plays a pivotal role in promoting self-learning and knowledge acquisition among students. With a vast collection of over 2000 books, journals, and magazines, students have access to diverse resources to support their academic endeavors. The library also provides a spacious reading room for students and teachers. In addition, the college has a book bank section that lends textbooks to students in need. To further facilitate research and academic pursuits, the college has established a “Web Access Centre” with 20 computers and a server. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and students have dedicated computer and internet facilities in the library as well.

Activities and Support:
SKS College of Pharmacy actively promotes the organization of seminars, lectures, workshops, and sports activities, along with various co-curricular activities. The college encourages student participation through the College Students Representative Committee, allowing them to express themselves and contribute to the college’s development. Scholarships and financial aid are provided to meritorious and needy students each year. The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of the college assists graduating students in finding suitable employment opportunities through campus recruitment.

The college recognizes the importance of inclusivity and has established several cells for the betterment of different sections of society.
